While Jericho was having a easier time getting used to this world than his 'older' brother, the young dragon didn't particuallary like school. Sure it was a place to learn but the ways the other kids treated one another was something he didn't like. It was strange to him that some students would beat and pick on those younger than them but then again...it wasn't too different than how the older dragons treated the younger ones that were hatchlings or out of the hatchling stage just not an adult yet. Oh well. No matter what world you go to, things were still the same. Course, Jericho tried rather hard to keep his dragon form a secret. Not a easy task with his brother watlking around with fangs and such a short temper.
In fact, today wasn't the best of days. All he was doing was walking down the halls and minding his own buisness when of course, the local bullies showed up. Hard to believe they were in the same grade as he was with the way they acted. But mentioning that wouldn't make them any more happy, so Jericho kept his mouth shut on that.
"And what can I help you all with today?" Jericho asked.
"Look at that, Mr. Civilized here wants to lend us a hand." The leader of the group said with a laugh. "Well you can put yourself in that locker if you want to help us so much."
Jericho leaned back slightly at that. Small spaces......lockers were so small. It was always amazing that he fight in them but of course, fear would automatically take over and his panicing would begin. Why did these humans get such a kick out of doing mean things to others? It was a mystery to Jericho, though hopefully Hermes wasn't around to see this. Knowing his brother, that temper of his would cause him to spit flames and get them all in worse trouble. Thus causing for Jericho to have to make up some sort of lie about why it 'looked' like his brother was breathing flames.
"Sorry, not today. I have classes to get to." Jericho said, giving a nervous smile.
"Naw, see when we want ya to do something, you do it. Course we can just stick ya in there." the leader said.

Hermes was walking through the halls, actually thinking about skipping the rest of the day and going to the woods to be in his dragon form. Of course when he saw his brother he knew that that was a small possibility. He was watching as the bullies came up to his brother and his brother went from looking calm to a bit scared and nervous.
"Hey!" he nearly shouted as he walked over to where they were. He didn't care about hiding his dragon form and if these guys made him mad enough there was the possibility of him changing or spitting fire by accident. Honestly he wouldn't care if either of them happened.
He was smiling at the bullies, showing his teeth which looked more like fangs most of the time. They were sharp and no one really knew why they came to the points they did, except for him and his brother of course.
"Are you giving my brother here a hard time?" He asked, his tones laced with his intentions to fight if they hurt him or his brother in anyway. You could already tell he was angry, just not to a dangerous level, well not yet.
(Sorry if it's bad, I couldn't really think of anything)

Ah...the familiar voice. Jericho was a bit releived to hear his brother's voice but knew the danger assiciated with it. People didn't give up easily and that was something that he knew could cause his brother's ill ways to show up. THe sudden appearanced of the fanged man surprised the bullies but the leader just laughed.
"We aren't hurting Mr. Civil here." The leader of the group said as he reached out and put a hand on Jericho's head, resulting in the young dragon hunch his shoulders a bit. "We just want to see him fit in one of those lockers. It's surprisingly easy to stick him in there he's so scrawny. Ya parents aren't feeding him enough I guess."
Let's see how you do when you're pulling a job to provide for yourself and 'older' brother. Jericho thought.
Though the large hand soon grabbed hold of his shoulder and jerked him forward. Resulting in a surprised sound to leave him as he dropped his books. Oh great. Being spun round and then released, one of the other bullies grabbed hold of him.
"Besides, even if he was hindered in the process. Whatcha gonna do it about it Pointy?" The leader taunted.
"Hermes....just ignore him. A really bad reaction is what he..." Jericho started, though he was soon tugged away and being lead toward a locker.
"Hey, shut your trap! Boss man was talking!" the bully holding Jericho ordered, as he tossed Jericho into the locker and closed it.
Not again.... Jericho thought as the door closed.
This...wasn't a good day.

Kinda hard for our parents to feed us at all since they aren't even in this world..... Hermes thought bitterly. He wouldn't trade his life for anything but he did wish that he had more family than just his brother.
He just stared at the bullies though, letting the anger show in his eyes as it intensified at the mention of their parents. He was not even close to being at his normal level of anger, the one where no one was messing with him or Jericho.
"You have no idea how well I could fight, if you hurt my brother I hurt you," He said bravely. He was ignoring what his brother said and when he got hauled off and placed in a locker Hermes lost it. He took a swing at the bully who seemed to be the leader of everyone, aiming to hit him in the jaw with all of his strength. NO ONE touched his brother or stuffed him in a locker where he would panic! Hermes knew his brother's fear of small spaces and he was more angry about them putting him in a small space than anything else.

Just....just stay calm. Everything's fine.....you're not stuck in a very very VERY small place.... Jericho thought in his head, trying not to freak out. It's okay....nothing's...wrong...
Course...that was a rather hard task for one with his fear to do. Keeping his eyes closed, it was just a measure to try and prevent himself from freaking out. Course he knew full well where he was and not seeing the place now in it wasn't going to chang what his mind knew. He was in a small space, he could hardly move around let alone forgot about being there. Putting his hands against the locker door, he pushed forward in the attempt to get the locker to open. Course that was made hard since one of the bullies was leaning right up against it!
Budge...come on....open already. Jericho pleaded as he pushed forward, trying to get the door to open.
"L...Let me out!" Jericho hollered, giving the door a few good hits, course the guy leaning against it hit it back.
"Pipe down in there. Just relax and get comfortable." The bully ordered.
"Easy for you to say..." course this sentence was muttered and really just meant for him to hear.
Relax was what he needed to doe. But that was really hard. Espically when....being stuck in these small spaces for too long did to him. Being such a young dragon keeping his form was hard enough with the perssures of school and a job. But that was made a whole deal harder when you placed him in the place where his fears were. It always seemed to do something to his mind...just make it go away. It was something he had been meaning to ask his parents about but...he was just too unsure on how to ask them about it. Course now that they were in this world, he couldn't ask anyone really.
The sound of bones being broken in the form of a loud crack could be heard. Along with the other bullies gasping and shock to it. The blow from Hermes had broken the bully leader's lower jaw and probably did more than that. Gritting his teeth, Jericho opened his eyes a bit to reveal the orange color slowly spreading in his hazel eyes, not a good sign. Course... Hermes just couldn't control his strength. Now the bully couldn't really speak due to sobbing in pain and the fact his talking was impaired. But that didn't stop several of the other bullies to try and deal their own blows to Hermes.
(OOC: You can make up on how they tried to hit Hermes, not too sure there myself.)

Hermes glanced worriedly at the locker Jericho was in when he heard hits coming from it. He turned back to the bullies, his eyes slowly shifting to green. This was not good, he was getting to angry but with his only family getting hurt he couldn't help it.
He turned back to the bullies and smiled wider, this really was not good. He really didn't think the bullies thought he could fight as well as he did because they almost seemed surprised when his hit broke their "leaders" jaw. A few hits actually connected and the first person's who did probably wished it hadn't because he aimed to hit them in the head and knock them out.
Every time a hit connected he aimed a hit at the one who hit him, either to knock them out or injure them in some way. One person he hit in the shoulder as hard as he could, probably either popping the joint out or breaking it in some way. He was fighting extremely well and his eyes were turning more and more green instead of their usual brown. When the only bully that remained was the one in front of the locker he stepped toward him menacingly. "You WILL move from in front of that locker right NOW!" He said as he took another step. If the bully tried to verse him and fight then Hermes would and it might just drive him over the edge. His eyes were now completely green.

Freaking out....that was what Jericho was doing in his head. The hitting of the locker wasn't doing anything for during the fight, the bully standing in front of it had locked it! Such a pain that this locker had one of those wierd locks where you had to get the number sequence right. IF you got it wrong....then starting over would be hard to do. Jericho's heart was beating faster and faster, causing him to take in deeper breathes of air. Course he soon noticed something that wasn't helping him out at all. His height had increased, while not by a whole foot, he noticed how the locker seemed to get smaller and how his head was now touching the top of it. Now moving was much more harder and it just started to freak him out more.
Course freaking out was making it worse. A moan of discomfort left him as he tried to shift as well was get out. With a hand against the locker door, a blackish blue tinged was starting to appear on the top of his hand. No scales were showing yet, just the skin starting to change colors. In fact, there were several of these spots all over. There was one even taking form around his right eye and a rather large section of his neck as he squirmed; or at least tried to. Closing his eyes and gritting his teeth, he still tried to move and get out. This just made his heart beat faster and the freaking out was made worse as well.
After all, if you can hardly move then taht means you are in a very, horribly small space. A nightmare for Jericho since his height increased a few more inches. He was somewhere in the six foot range by now but rendered stuck since his size increased. A whimpering sound left Jericho as closed his eyes even harder. He hated small spaces. He just hated them.
Course Hermes wasn't fairing well on his end, probably lost himself to his rage by now. The bullies that had tried to fight now suffered their own broken limb and thus were down for the count. The one in front of the locker took off running, screaming for the Principle. Just what they needed eh? Course....the locker was....locked.

Hermes hadn't completely lost himself to his rage, but he was pretty dang close. He walked over to the locker trying to calm down so he didn't rip the door off. Of course, he would have to break the lock to get into it but that was better than the whole thing getting broken.
"Jericho are you okay?" He called through the door as he gave the lock a good pull hoping that it would break. He would keep pulling till it did of course but the sooner it came open or broke apart the sooner that his brother could get out of the locker.
Hermes didn't really care that the bully that was in front of the locker went for the principal, he was to used to getting into trouble. His brother was his worry right now and his eyes were still green instead of brown. He was starting to have random red spots pop up on his skin as he started growing taller. Finally Hermes would show his true form at school, of course Jericho wouldn't think that would be such a good thing and he was slowly doing the same thing. This was just what they needed at school, to turn into two basically mindless dragons.

NO! He wasn't anywhere near okay but really, he couldn't respond. At the moment he was too busy freaking out and subconciously he slammed his arm against the locker once more. On the sides of the top of his head, two small horns started to appear, the golden color of them was hard to see at first since his hair was still brown but that would surely change with more time. Course the locker was soon given a harder tug due to the lock being pulled and the weak little metal thing broke.
Resulting in the door flinging open and for Jericho to fall out; surprisingly since he had grown to the height of six foot nine while being stuck in the locker. Falling onto his back, his eyes opened to reveal they weren't fully orange yet. Though there was clearly a good deal of orange to them. His vision was a bit blurred for some reason, a common thing for Jericho when the change was underway. But he quickly regonzised the white flooring of the school hallway as he slowly sat up. Slowly his height decreased a few inches as he gasped for air and blinked a bit. The white hallway.....it was large and open since there were no other students in it save for those passed out on the ground.
The tips of the horns disappeared as Jericho sat there. He was still there, not lost himself yet. But it was still possible to send him over the edge. His whole hand had taken on the blackish blue color. With his right eye completley surronded by the blackish blue color, it had spread in a line down to join up with the large spot on his neck.
Breath...just breath.... Jericho thought to himself as he sat there, trying to get a grip.

Hermes was still on edge and more red was popping up on his skin. He wanted to rip those bullies to shreds and that was hard to do in human form, as a dragon he had claws and even sharper teeth. Anger was bubbling and spilling over, someone needed to get him out of the school before he completely lost it and did kill someone.
He was now almost seven feet tall and still growing, this wasn't good since the school wasn't designed for a nine foot dragon to be inside of it. His brother was fine but when that bully came back they would both be in trouble considering they didn't exactly look normal at the moment. His brother was talented if he could explain this away.
The single spine that started the row down his back started to appear on his head, still hidden in his black hair for the moment. He had his eyes closed but he couldn't calm down, NO ONE hurt his family in ANY way. He wasn't really even trying to fight it and calm down anymore, and that wasn't completely good since he was now a bit over seven foot and still growing.

Finally...just breathe and...relax. Still in the six foot range, Jericho shrank a bit more. The orange from his eyes was faded course, that didn't stop them from widening when he saw the state his brother was in. Oh...snap. His brother wasn't fairing anywhere near good, considering his large size and the fact he was still growing!!
"HErmes!" Jericho called out as he scrambled to his feet and went to be around to face his brother. "I'm alright, everything's fine. It's alright, please just calm down."
There was no way to explain this....was there? The Principle didn't know what they were, no one did. Oh man....how...how to explain it, if he had to? Maybe he could just tell em that something fell in? NO! That wouldn't work.
"Hermes. Please, please calm down. They're gone, no one else is here." Jericho added.

His brother's words barely reached him but he turned to look anyway. Through the haze of anger he could see a completely fine Jericho but it was a bit late for him to calm down. He was to angry at the bullies for stuffing his brother in a locker to begin with and the one putting the lock on it didn't help.
To say that he was angry would be an understatement, even furious was an understatement, he was beyond what there was even words for. He was breathing hard, caught between trying to push the change away and the anger begging him to give in. Anger was a dangerous thing to choose but that's what he was going to. That's what his body and mind was forcing him to after a moment of indecision.
He needed to get out of the school now, or very soon, before he killed the bullies who already couldn't fight. He wasn't going to leave on his own now though. He was in a dangerous situation and about to be discovered for what he truly was. He wasn't the one freaking out though, and he wouldn't freak out because he didn't care. At the rate he was going this would really not be good and it was just what he and his brother needed, to look more weird.
"Yes but the one that put you in that locker will be back, and when he is he'll get the surprise of his life," he said as he turned to his brother with green eyes shining. He wasn't scared or worried at all and it showed.

"NO! Neither of is is doing anything to them. If you do something worse to him, it won't do any good. It'll just get a lot of people upset and then who knows what would happen. If he comes back then he most likely is bringing the Principle with him." Jericho explained.
Even though he wasn't freaking out about the small space anymore, standing up to his brother wasn't helping him either. In fact, claws appeared at the end of his fingertips of the blackish blue hand and he looked down at it. Only to watch the hand enlarge itself to try and take on a more paw appearance and a sigh left him. This just wasn't their day. Trying to ignore his own changing aside, he turned his hazel gaze back up to his....very tall brother.
"Just shrink down so I can get you out of the school without...destroying it. That will be really way too hard for me to cover up in any lie." Jericho requested.

As much as Hermes hated to admit it Jericho did have a point. To tell the truth he hadn't thought about the other people finding out. He was still to angry at the bullies to stop and go back to normal but he wouldn't be completely mindless now. If they had just fought him and left Jericho out of it it wouldn't have been half as bad.
"Fine," he said as he shrunk back down a bit, just enough to fit out a door without ruining it. Once he was outside he just needed to find the closest wooded area and disappear into it, hopefully with his brother in tow. That was the problem with how young the two were, it was hard to hold human form anyway and when someone picked on you or made you mad it made it worse. Taking a deep breath he started to grow again as scales started to show. He didn't have much longer before he completely changed.
He had no idea where to go either, this was a problem. He didn't know which direction to go in to get to a wooded area the fastest. He wasn't to worried about it but now that Jericho brought it up he realised it would he really bad for someone to see him change, no one else needed to know what he and his brother were.

"Thank you." Jericho replied, at least his brother agreed to it and tried to shrink though it wasn't long till his height increased. "Come on."
Running down the halls, he hoped his brother wouldn't grow the whole time. IF he did, his footsteps would most likely cause the building to shake. Not a wanted effect but if it happened, it would happen. Maybe that would keep people inside the classrooms? Make em think there was a earthquake and thus ensuring they could get out of here. Jericho really didn't want to leave school while it was still going but it was starting to look like he'd have to considering his brother's state and his own.
Turning corners in the halls was a spooky thing at the moment. Considering how his brother was changing faster than he was and...well Jericho's own height issue and other things. Course when he was rounding a corner, he nearly bumped into a fellow student. With his changed hand, he gestured to his brother to stop and not come round.
"What happened to your eye and neck, Jericho?" The girl asked shocked.
"UM....nothing bad I...I just hit my head into the locker. Not sure about the neck though..." Jericho lied.
"Your bruise is already that bad?! You should go to the nurse."
"I'll do that later, but right now I've got to do something the Principle assigned my brother and I to do. You see....this part of the school is soaking wet from a plumbing issue and we're tapping it off..."
"Did your brother get in trouble again?"
"NO! It's from...last time."
